Dev’s are Excited About the Next Witcher 3 Expansion

Blood and Wine is set to be Geralt’s last adventure.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won many awards last year, including GameSpot’s own Game of the Year, but CD Projekt Red believes its upcoming expansion will be “better than the main game.”

Gamespot had an interview, senior writer Jakub Szamalek from Eurogamer Italy to talk about the game’s upcoming expansion Blood and Wine. The expansion will be his last adventure for the main character  Geralt.  The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt feedback since released last year has helped the team at CD Projekt Red achieve something even better than the main game says Szamalek.

Szamalek discuses the creation of a unique opponent in Blood and Wine to set it self apart from the lack of a charismatic enemy in the Wild Hunt. Along with creating a complex story in Blood and Wine that players will appreciate.

When Blood and Wine releases (which is set to release in the first half of 2016), Szamlaek will focus his efforts on Cyberpunk 2077.
