Tales of Symphonia is an role playing game that takes place in a world called Sylvarant and follows the questing of Lloyd Irving. Lloyd tags along with his friend, Colette Brunel as they go on a quest to save the world. The game consists of three areas, town and dungeon map, an overworld field map, and a battle screen. The overworld map allows players to reach different destinations in the game.The battle map is a 3D view of the battle scene were you command the battle.
