US Release – Blade and Soul

Original a Korean martial arts fantasy based MMORGP (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) that was release in September of 2012. Blade and Soul takes place in an open-world environment which is highly inspired by martial arts combat and quingong (a wood blank that is used in traditional Baguazhang trainging, which is placed against a wall and ran up, as training progress the blanks angle is increase.) There are four races to choose from in Blade and Soul:
- Gon: Combative skills and physical power are treasured, they seek to become stronger. They use their intimidating physical for personal gain. As a Gon you can play as a Destroyer, Kung Fu Master, and a Force Master.
- Lyn: Are unpredictable and mischievous creatures with large ears and dainty tails. Using their acute senses to steer clear of danger and see deception and treachery where others cannot. A Lyn can be a Summoner, Force Master, and a Blade Dancer.
- Yun: A purely female race they are heavily attuned the flow of nature and dance. Elegance and grace have been passed on to the Yun from a mystical bird called the Funghuang. The Yun are the best artisans in the land creating beauty in everything they do. As a Yun you can choose to be a Force Master, Blade Master or a Kung Fu Master.
- Jin: Which breaks down to “Unyielding Effort” is the soul characteristic of the Jin. Jin are small than the Gon but they are full of incredible strength and tenacity. Their never-say-die attitude and versatility have given the Jin warriors a reputation on the battlefield. A Jin can be a Assassin, Blade Master or a Kung Fu Master
Blade and SoulĀ is split into two factions, each faction has the same goal of eliminating evil, but their views differ on how the realm should operate. Depending on who you align with will determine which Clans you can join.
Players begin in a PVE area but can choose to engage in PVP later in the game.
